About the role
- .NET Developer building APIs and backend services for an IT services company. Supporting production applications, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and incident resolution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core
- Develop and maintain APIs, web applications, and backend services
- Troubleshoot application issues and identify root causes
- Provide production/application support and resolve technical incidents within required timelines
- Perform debugging, code fixes, and performance troubleshooting
- Work with DevOps teams and participate in build, deployment, and release activities
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control, builds, deployments, and collaboration
- Monitor applications, analyze logs, and troubleshoot deployment or production issues
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and other technical teams
- Follow development, deployment, security, and support best practices
- Document technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and support procedures
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET
- Experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Strong understanding of Web APIs and backend development
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with production/application support
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and CI/CD
- Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar DevOps platform
- Experience with Git/version control
- Understanding of application deployment and release processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
