Responsibilities
Translate the existing Gender Strategy into Annual Work Plan activities, targets, indicators, timelines, and budget allocations
Review Annual Work Plan materials for alignment with gender priorities and donor requirements
Align workstreams with gender-transformative approaches identified through analysis, learning, and evidence
Conduct and document a technical review of the Choices, Voices, Promises curriculum
Lead contextual adaptation and development of culturally sensitive, gender-responsive, and age-appropriate SRHR modules
Provide technical guidance and capacity-building support to facilitators, partner organizations, and project staff
Develop or refine facilitator guides, training materials, and quality-assurance mechanisms
Provide technical training, tools, and mentoring to the CoLMEAL team
Contribute to gender-related data collection, analysis, reporting, and use of sex-, age-, and disability-disaggregated data
Support interpretation of gender-related findings for work plan updates, adaptive management, learning events, and reports
Strengthen staff, partner, and facilitator capacity in gender-transformative programming
Develop practical resources and guidance for consistent gender integration
Collaborate across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
Provide technical recommendations to project leadership while maintaining an advisory role
Produce gender-integration matrices, curriculum adaptation packages, updated training materials, measurement recommendations, capacity-strengthening resources, and progress/completion reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Strong understanding of gender-transformative and gender-responsive approaches
Strong knowledge of gender equality programming, preferably in adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights programming
Ability to translate gender strategies and analysis into practical program activities, work plans, indicators, budgets, and implementation approaches
Understanding and application of Global Affairs Canada requirements, including Results-Based Management (RBM) and Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA Plus)
Advanced analytical skills related to gender outcomes, measurement, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems
Excellent facilitation, mentoring, training, and capacity-building skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, project partners, facilitators, and community stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet agreed deadlines within a time-bound assignment
Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt technical approaches to local contexts
High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to respect and actively support the mission, vision, and values of World Renew
Master's degree in Gender Studies, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of relevant advanced training and substantial professional experience
At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in gender equality programming
Experience in adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-transformative programming, curriculum adaptation, or gender-responsive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
Experience working on Global Affairs Canada-funded projects, including RBM and GBA Plus
Experience translating a Gender Strategy into operational work plans, activities, indicators, and implementation approaches
Experience strengthening Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning systems through gender-sensitive and gender-transformative indicators
Experience reviewing or adapting life-skills, gender-transformative, or social and gender norms-change curricula
Experience providing technical assistance, facilitation, mentoring, or capacity building
Fluency in English with strong written, oral, and presentation skills
Permanent work authorization at time of hire
Successful completion of a thorough background check
Fluency in Bengali is preferred/strongly preferred
Experience in multicultural, multidisciplinary, matrixed, and remote environments is highly preferred
Relevant professional experience in Bangladesh is preferred
