About the role
- Virtual banking specialist serving Prospera members through phone, email, and chat. Recommending financial products, supporting digital banking, and building lasting member relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers over the phone, email, and chat
- Establish rapport and address service inquiries and customer concerns
- Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships
- Demonstrate the value of digital and self-service channels
- Educate customers on digital and self-service banking transactions
- Refer customers to account managers and external business partners
- Handle transactions and open personal and business profiles, demand accounts, term deposits, ATM cards, and other banking products and services
- Participate in sales meetings
- Maintain accurate sales and service activity histories in the customer relationship management system
- Support and participate in community initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role within a fast-paced work environment
- At least 1–3 years of experience in a financial services role
- Customer service experience in a high-volume remote/call center environment highly regarded
- Front-line/customer-service mindset
- Strong interest in a financial services career
- Capacity and passion for learning
- Strong team orientation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to grow and help others
- Interest in community involvement is a must-have
