About the role

  • Conseiller senior en architecture d’entreprise modélisant processus et services d’affaires pour Xideral Canadá. Alignement avec TOGAF, l’architecture gouvernementale et la Stratégie numérique du Québec.

Responsibilities

  • Design the target enterprise architecture for the Business domain
  • Document and model business processes and services
  • Ensure architectural alignment with the organization’s strategic planning
  • Align the enterprise architecture with the Government of Quebec’s enterprise architecture
  • Ensure alignment with Quebec’s Digital Strategy and government information resource management guidelines
  • Produce the deliverables and artifacts prescribed by TOGAF
  • Maintain and store artifacts in the enterprise repository
  • Conduct assessments, provide architecture opinions, and perform impact analyses
  • Issue recommendations to guide architecture decisions
  • Produce architecture models using ArchiMate, BPMN, and Sparx Enterprise Architect
  • Participate in the Integration and Architecture Committee (TIA)
  • Contribute to resolving architecture-level issues
  • Collaborate with various business and technology stakeholders
  • Work independently to complete assignments and produce deliverables

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to information technology, or an equivalent MBA
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in information technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience as an enterprise architect, working at least 35 hours per week
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an enterprise architecture advisor in a public-sector organization
  • Excellent command of business process and service modeling
  • Proficiency in BPMN notation
  • Proficiency in the ArchiMate modeling language
  • Excellent knowledge of the TOGAF architecture framework
  • Advanced proficiency with Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect
  • Experience producing and managing enterprise architecture artifacts
  • At least one enterprise architecture engagement involving the development of online services or the digital transformation of an organization’s services
  • Ability to conduct architecture assessments and impact analyses
  • Strong autonomy in carrying out and documenting architecture work
  • Excellent command of French
  • Quebec diploma or recognized equivalent
  • TOGAF certification, BIZBOK Business Architecture certification, and a master’s degree or other graduate-level university degree are considered assets but are not required
  • Must specify authorization to work in Canada
