- Project Operations Manager coordinating IP collaborations between global brands and mobile game developers. Driving project operations, licensing support, and successful game launches worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with global IP holders about game crossover opportunities in China and worldwide
- Understand brand values and maintain strong partner relationships
- Own project operations with game developers to maximize revenue and brand awareness through global IP collaborations
- Drive project management and execute IP supervision
- Support licensors and sublicensees to ensure smooth launches in target markets
- Partner with sales and business development teams on brand integration in games
- Build understanding of licensing and gaming industries and monitor client and project trends
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Evaluate project performance and communicate results, insights, and learnings
- Propose practical IP integration solutions to move collaborations forward
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in mobile gaming
- Proven success in project management, especially within game publishing or game operations
- Native-level Chinese and strong spoken and written English
- Ability to work effectively across cultures
- Strong passion for games, especially mobile games
- Familiarity with ACGN culture in Europe, North America, Japan, or Korea
- Self-motivation and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
- Experience in digital IP operations and/or game publishing is a plus
- Familiarity with remote working tools is a plus
- Experience working with teams across different locations, cultures, and time zones is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows is a plus
- Scalable thinking and strong ownership mindset is a plus
- Flexibility to accommodate some overlap with Beijing working hours is a plus
