- Senior Accountant Expert reviewing accounting, audit, tax, and legal materials for accuracy. Supporting AI training datasets through annotation and model evaluation for a technology partner.
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards
- Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios
- Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights
- Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues
- Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations
- Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams
- Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation
Requirements
- 5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with a track record of handling complex financial scenarios
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review
- Demonstrated experience in providing actionable feedback and communicating findings effectively in both written and verbal formats
- Prior participation in human data projects such as data labeling, annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or model evaluation
- Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a passion for leveraging accounting knowledge in innovative contexts
