About the role
- Urgent contract roles for Automation QA (SDET) in Toronto. Requires Java, SQL, API testing, Selenium/Cucumber, and Agile experience.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for two Automation QA (SDET) contract roles for a client moving quickly. The roles are hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in Downtown Toronto, 12-month contracts with strong chance of extension. Role 1 requires 5-7 years of testing experience in Agile, 5+ years of automation, strong Java, SQL, API testing, and Selenium/Cucumber. Role 2 (Banking) requires strong Core Java, advanced SQL, extensive Selenium for WEB and API testing, and SME in banking/financial services. Both require ALM and JIRA.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of overall testing experience in an Agile environment; 5+ years of dedicated automation experience; strong technical proficiency in JAVA, SQL, and API testing; hands-on experience utilizing Selenium/Cucumber; solid command of testing processes and tools including ALM and JIRA. For Role 2: strong Core JAVA development skills, advanced SQL, extensive Selenium for WEB and API testing, SME in banking/financial services. Highly desired: Cucumber and BDD processes.
