About the role

  • Drive development of high-performance trading solutions using C# .NET within a global electronic FX platform. Optimize for low-latency and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software components for electronic trading systems. Develop low-latency trading features using C# .NET, optimizing for performance and scalability. Create and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure system reliability. Lead the migration of backend utility services from vendor-supported to in-house systems. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple applications to coordinate migration activities. Support production environments through root cause analysis and issue resolution. Address business requirements independently, proposing and implementing technical solutions. Mentor junior developers to foster growth and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience. Expertise in optimizing software performance and latency reduction. Familiarity with the FIX protocol. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to ask questions, explain ideas clearly, and work collaboratively. Proficient multi-threaded programming skills. Solid understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems. Nice to Have: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field. Familiarity with Broadway FX. Experience with Java. Previous experience in financial institutions.
