About the role
- Seeking a Data & Analytics Consultant in Toronto to develop Power BI dashboards, model data, and engage stakeholders. Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and ETL required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand complex reporting needs and turn data into clear, actionable insights. Develop high-impact dashboards and executive reporting using Power BI. Query, transform, validate, and model complex datasets using SQL and Snowflake. Work with data integration and ETL/ELT processes across disparate data sources. Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Ensure data quality and validation for trusted reporting.
Requirements
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, data modelling, data integration/ETL/ELT, stakeholder engagement, data quality and validation. Strong communication, consulting, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills. Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Python, Git or CI/CD is an asset. Experience in infrastructure, transportation, construction, engineering, utilities, mining, or other capital-intensive industries is a strong asset.
