- Email Developer – SFMC contract role: build/optimize email campaigns for a major Canadian bank using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Requires 2+ years SFMC experience, HTML/CSS, AmpScript, and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy multiple emails, web pages, and SMS within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Collaborate with team members to create and update email templates and content. Manage and enhance standardized email templates, ensuring quality and functionality. Set up data integrations supporting Marketing Automation journeys across channels such as email, push notifications, and online advertising. Optimize campaigns for deliverability, engagement, and responsiveness across devices and email clients. Apply email marketing best practices and stay informed about industry trends. Execute quality assurance checks on campaigns and collaborate with the quality team. Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions. Develop new processes for in-house campaign management and automation. Test and troubleshoot email rendering issues across multiple email clients and devices. Apply knowledge of Litmus or Email on Acid for email testing and troubleshooting. Use SQL, AmpScript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to build dynamic content.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience. 2+ years of working with responsive HTML emails, CSS, and media queries. 1+ years of experience using AmpScript within SFMC for dynamic content. Proficiency with Email Studio, CloudPage Studio, and Mobile Studio. Familiarity with Data Extensions, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. Knowledge of email testing tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid. Troubleshooting skills for email rendering issues across devices and clients. Ability to work with data, using Excel and SFMC for testing scenarios. Experience with SQL, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field. Nice to Have: Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (Email Specialist, Developer). Experience within the financial services industry.
