About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes within Microsoft Fabric and OneLake to build a centralized Common Data Environment (CDE) for a construction company. This is a 6-month contract with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes within Microsoft Fabric and OneLake to build a centralized Common Data Environment (CDE). Build scalable data pipelines to consolidate and standardize data from multiple enterprise systems into a single source of truth. Perform development lifecycle tasks including analyzing data sources, developing ETL/ELT solutions, implementing medallion architecture, designing master data models, building Power BI dashboards, implementing data validation, configuring data security, scheduling ETL jobs, documenting pipelines, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–10+ years of hands-on experience as an ETL Developer / Data Engineer. Strong experience building centralized data platforms. Technical expertise in Microsoft Fabric, ETL/ELT pipeline development, SQL, Python/PySpark, REST API integration, medallion architecture, data modeling, and Power BI. Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, data governance, and Azure identity/access management. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
