About the role
- Hiring an Intermediate GenAI Engineer for a 12-month contract in North York, ON. Build production LLM apps with Python, RAG, and GCP.
Responsibilities
- As an Intermediate GenAI Engineer, you will be part of a growing AI Centre of Excellence, building intelligent AI assistants, autonomous agents, and production-grade Generative AI applications for one of Canada's largest retail organizations. You will work with Python, FastAPI, RAG, Agentic AI, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL/pgvector, and vector databases.
Requirements
- 3+ years building production Generative AI / LLM applications; 4+ years of backend software engineering with Python; experience deploying scalable AI systems using RAG, FastAPI, and Google Cloud; passion for building real-world AI solutions that automate business workflows and create measurable impact. Bonus experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, Google ADK, or Multi-Agent Systems.
