About the role
- Support project financial governance, resource management, and reporting for a top financial client. Manage financial forecasts, GL reconciliation, and executive reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, focusing on financial governance and resource management. Maintain and update project financial forecasts, track project progress, and escalate risks or issues as needed. Manage project financials including GL reconciliation, invoice reviews, accruals, chargebacks, and variance analysis. Prepare and present financial and status reports for leadership and executive committees. Support governance activities, identify process improvements, and assist in enhancing tools and reporting efficiency. Support resource allocation governance, onboard resources to proprietary tools, and assist users with technical issues. Exercise independent judgment within defined procedures and escalate issues when necessary. Participate in resource and project financial tool (Eclipse) first-line support and updates.
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in a Senior IT Project Coordinator, Project Control Officer, or similar role. Proven expertise managing program/project financials, including GL reconciliation and executive reporting. Strong multitasking abilities with adaptability to changing priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with strong attention to detail. Skilled in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting from various systems.
