About the role

  • Senior Project Control Officer needed for an onsite contract in Ontario. Must have 7-10 years of project coordination experience and proficiency with MS Project or Planview.

Responsibilities

  • We are actively looking for an experienced Project Control Officer – Senior for our client, Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. The role is onsite at 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, ON or 49 Place d’Armes, Kingston, ON. The start date is June 15, 2026, with an estimated end date of October 5, 2027, for a duration of 447 business days (extension possible). Security clearance: CRJMC.

Requirements

  • Must-Have Skills: 7–10 years of experience coordinating projects; experience working with Managers and Project Managers to provide project updates, escalate issues, identify risks, and coordinate project deliverables; experience preparing project status reports and maintaining reporting logs; hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Planview, or similar; strong understanding of project management concepts including scope, risk, planning, cost, quality management, and stakeholder coordination. Preferred Experience: Project budgeting, progress reporting, risk management, and action tracking; supporting multiple Project Managers in mainframe/legacy system environments; meeting scheduling and facilitation; managing project document repositories and governance; strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; Public Sector experience, preferably with mainframe/legacy systems.
