About the role
- Leads QA/QC for nuclear and civil construction projects, owning the quality program end-to-end. Manages QC team and serves as primary QA interface with clients.
Responsibilities
- The Quality Assurance Manager leads the Quality function across a portfolio of concurrent nuclear and civil construction projects. Reporting directly to the Director of Systems & Strategy, this role owns the quality program end to end, from pre-bid and contract review through ITP development, execution, inspection, nonconformance and corrective action, vendor quality, and client and third-party audits. The QA Manager leads the QC team and serves as the company’s quality authority and primary QA interface with clients, designers, and contract administrators.
Requirements
- Proven leadership leading, mentoring, and developing quality staff. Diploma or degree in engineering, construction, quality management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years in QA/QC, including 3+ years in a lead or management capacity. Experience with ITPs, PSSQPs, NCR/CAPA systems, ISO 9001, auditing, and quality requirements on lump-sum projects. Preferred: Nuclear quality experience and familiarity with CSA N-series; professional certification such as CQA, CQE, CQM, welding inspection, or NDE familiarity; COR and ISO 45001 familiarity, heavy civil and/or transit experience, and experience mentoring QC staff.
