About the role
- Senior Data Scientist needed for 12-month contract, remote-first with 1 day/month onsite in North York, ON. Must have Python, SQL, GCP (Vertex AI & BigQuery), and forecasting experience.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Python, SQL, Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI & BigQuery), and forecasting/time-series modeling to join a high-performing AI team working on large-scale, data-driven solutions. You will own the full ML lifecycle—from model development to production deployment.
Requirements
- Must-Have Skills: Python & advanced SQL, Machine Learning & Forecasting, Vertex AI & BigQuery, Production model deployment, Strong stakeholder communication. Bonus: GenAI, LLMs, RAG, Docker, Airflow, or retail/supply chain forecasting experience.
