About the role
- Senior Java/Full-Stack Developers needed for a 12-month contract in Toronto. Must have 10+ years of experience in enterprise-level development.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end enterprise IT solution designs and system component integration. Collaborate on solution design, architecture checkpoints, and write technical documentation. Provide technical leadership, conduct code walkthroughs, and mentor team members. Debug, refactor, and optimize complex multi-tier application systems.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of IT Systems Development experience in multi-platform, multi-tier environments. Deep expertise in Java/JEE stack (JSP/Servlet, EJB, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, XML, JSON). Strong hands-on experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or Tomcat. Solid background in Oracle RDBMS and complex PL/SQL development. Proven experience building and integrating RESTful and SOAP-based Web Services. Prior experience leading technical teams and guiding solution architecture. Experience or familiarity working within public sector/government IT standards is a strong asset.
