About the role
- Senior Mainframe Developer (COBOL) needed for banking domain in Toronto. Hybrid role, 3 days onsite, 7+ years experience required.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL and core IBM Mainframe technologies to support enterprise banking applications. Responsibilities include development of production-grade Mainframe applications, code testing, deployment, and production support, release pipeline knowledge, and leading teams of 5+ members.
Requirements
- Mandatory Skills: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS. Preferred Skills: SYNCSORT, AWS Cloud, Agile & Scrum, REXX & IBM Utilities. Required Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Mainframe development experience, 3+ years of technical/team lead experience, experience leading teams of 5+ members, strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
