About the role
- Senior Analyst for global project reporting and JV accounting. Requires 10+ years experience, SAP, advanced Excel, and CPA/AACE certification.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Analyst will participate in corporate reviews and reporting of global major projects, learn corporate finance and project operational systems, maintain and refine project reporting tools (Excel-based), assist in project reviews, report results of global major project reviews, and coordinate information for annual external financial statement audits. Additionally, the role involves hands-on project/JV accounting and invoicing, understanding JV agreements, executing JV accounting under IFRS, preparing monthly financial statements, and providing project analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or relevant disciplines; preferably a recognized accounting designation (CPA/CA/CMA/CGA) and/or AACE cost control certification (CCP); 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering and construction; extensive exposure to project accounting, financial controls, commercial/contract review in lumpsum, turnkey, cost reimbursable, fixed priced, consortium, alliance, design-build, and multinational JV projects; good communication skills; proficient in SAP and MS Office; advanced Excel; Power BI (good to have); analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge of project accounting, controllership, risk management, and reporting in large complex projects; knowledge of project invoicing and unbilled reporting; knowledge of project management and cost management cycles.
