About the role
- Senior Backend Engineer (5-10 yrs) with NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, NX, microservices, Kafka, MongoDB. Hybrid in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (5–10 Years) with strong hands-on experience in NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, NX Monorepo, microservices, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and MongoDB. Experience with BFF/API Gateway, Azure Entra ID/OAuth, Snowflake, Docker/Kubernetes, and legacy application modernization is highly preferred. This role focuses on modernizing a legacy platform into a scalable, cloud-native architecture.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience; strong hands-on experience in NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, NX Monorepo, microservices, event-driven architecture, Kafka, and MongoDB. Experience with BFF/API Gateway, Azure Entra ID/OAuth, Snowflake, Docker/Kubernetes, and legacy application modernization is highly preferred.
