- Senior Technical Business Analyst (API & Integration) needed for a banking client in Toronto. 3-month contract, hybrid work, $80/hr.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for defining RESTful API requirements, integration specifications, API contracts, and versioning standards. They will document end-to-end data flows, translate complex business rules into technical specifications, and write detailed functional specifications and user stories. The role involves navigating incomplete business rules, managing dependencies, and supporting UAT through production rollout.
Requirements
- 3+ years in banking/financial industry with mortgages or pricing/rate systems; 10+ years as a Technical BA in enterprise integration or API-heavy programs; proven track record defining RESTful API requirements and contracts; strong data mapping and integration skills; ability to translate business rules; expert in functional documentation; cross-functional delivery experience.
