Responsibilities
- We are hiring for RQ11201 – Technology Architect – Senior for an exciting opportunity with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. This is a hybrid role located at 777 Bay St., Toronto, Ontario, starting September 1, 2026, for 270 business days plus possible extension. The role requires expertise in cyber security, next-generation network security, enterprise security architecture, and cloud security.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Cyber Security & Next-Generation Network Security experience; Enterprise Security Architecture (Cloud, Network, Identity & Security Operations); SSE/SASE (SWG, CASB, FWaaS, ZTNA); Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA); Cloud Security (Microsoft Azure, AWS & Google Cloud); AI/ML-driven Cyber Security & Automation; Endpoint Security (EPP, EDR, XDR); Vulnerability Management & Patch Automation; Hybrid Security Operations (MSSP, MDR & SOC-as-a-Service); LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, Firewalls, Switches & Routers; SDN & SD-WAN (Fortinet, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto); Executive-Level Stakeholder Management & Strategic Advisory; Cyber Security Roadmaps & Modernization Strategy. Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CISA, CRISC. Nice to Have: Experience with Ontario K–12 School Boards; MITRE ATT&CK, D3FEND & ATLAS Frameworks; UEBA; Penetration Testing & Automated Red Teaming; Government of Ontario/Public Sector Experience.
