About the role
- Senior Test Lead needed for 8-month contract in GTA. Must have healthcare interoperability (HL7/FHIR) and automation (Playwright) experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, release readiness recommendations, and defect/automation metrics. Direct hands-on functional and performance testing for React frontends, Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and relational databases. Hands-on test automation development using Playwright. Deep testing execution using Postman and vREST. Validate complex workflows leveraging HL7v2, FHIR APIs, FHIR Subscriptions, SMART on FHIR, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and Mirth Integration Engine.
Requirements
- 10+ years in Senior Quality Assurance / Test Lead roles overseeing end-to-end testing in large-scale enterprise environments. Hands-on proficiency in Playwright, Postman, vREST, and Java/React stack testing. Proven experience testing HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and healthcare integration hubs (e.g., Mirth). Experience within Canadian Public Sector or Healthcare domains. Local to the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) for hybrid work requirements.
