About the role

  • Canada Life seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to lead architecture and modernization of advisor compensation platforms (Siebel CRM, FASAT). Role involves integration strategy, cloud adoption, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Solutions Architect, Advisor Compensation Platforms leads the architecture, modernization, integration, and evolution of mission-critical advisor compensation capabilities, including Siebel CRM, FASAT, advisor management, data integration, and reporting solutions. This role is the primary architectural authority for advisor compensation technology, partnering with business, product, technology, vendor, and enterprise architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for onboarding, hierarchy management, commission processing, compensation reporting, and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior Technical Lead. Strong experience with Siebel CRM, FASAT, advisor compensation/commission systems, enterprise application integration, and data architecture. Experience designing integrations using APIs, ETL, messaging, event-driven architectures, SQL, Oracle technologies, middleware, and enterprise architecture practices. Knowledge of cloud hosting, enterprise security, resiliency, operational support, monitoring, and disaster recovery models. Familiarity with Salesforce, data lakes, analytics platforms, and policy administration systems is an asset. Deep understanding of financial services, insurance, wealth management, advisor compensation, contracts, distribution operations, and regulatory considerations. Strategic thinking, architecture governance, executive communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, influencing without authority, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
