Lead store space planning for a big box retailer, creating floor/block plans and managing a team. On-site in Mississauga, 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Store Space Planning is responsible for scoping stores, understanding pain points, and implementing designs using AutoCAD. This role involves creating floor plans and block plans to determine merchandising section placement, managing stakeholders, and leading a team. The position requires on-site presence 5 days a week in Mississauga and occasional overnight travel within Canada.

1 year of past people management experience; 7-15 years of experience in design (space planner or design manager); 2+ recent years in big box retail environment; experience creating floor plan/block plan; strong with AutoCAD; experience with leadership, presence, stakeholder management; proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PPT, Bluebeam; comfortable working on-site 5 days a week; travel within Canada about once a month overnight.
