About the role
- Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Specialist driving 3M Canada’s Industrial Adhesives and Tapes sales across the Greater Toronto Area. Managing customers, channels, pipelines, and growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed designated sales quota in the defined sales territory
- Partner with local channel teams to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs
- Develop end-user customers and application processes to drive growth of Industrial Adhesives & Tapes portfolios
- Provide market and customer insights to portfolio managers, marketing, application engineers, and leadership
- Collaborate with the End-User Key Accounts Team to drive growth through key end-user customers
- Manage the opportunity pipeline and conduct strategic planning for new opportunities
- Conduct regular business reviews for key markets and end-user customers in the region
- Drive a company vehicle and travel up to 30% domestically
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of exceptional sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Experience articulating value propositions and system-selling
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience developing and managing key accounts
- Product demonstration experience and competence
- Strong track record of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork
- Must provide education and work history via resume or application fields
- Driving a company vehicle requires pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history
