About the role

  • Graphic Designer creating print, digital, packaging, and in-store campaigns for 7-Eleven Canada. Delivering brand-consistent creative across customer touchpoints and regional formats.

Responsibilities

  • Create on-brand graphic art, visual elements, and polished assets for print, digital, in-store, and social channels
  • Design marketing materials and content including signage, packaging, merchandising displays, direct mail, email, brochures, digital ads, app and web assets, social media content, and motion/video graphics
  • Inject fun and highly engaging content into brand communications
  • Collaborate with Brand, Store Experience, Digital, E-Commerce, Social Media, Loyalty, and Integrated Marketing teams
  • Support packaging and in-store program rollouts by adapting creative to multiple SKUs, formats, and regional needs
  • Refine templates, visual systems, iconography, typography, and layout frameworks
  • Organize, update, and maintain the Digital Asset Management library
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Consult with internal teams to understand goals, gather requirements, provide creative recommendations, and ensure strategic alignment
  • Support photoshoots, image sourcing, retouching, and visual-content adaptation
  • Ensure creative aligns with 7-Eleven brand standards while supporting innovation
  • Participate in creative reviews and exchange constructive feedback
  • Stay current on technologies, design trends, retail marketing practices, and the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 4 years of professional design experience, ideally within a retail/QSR consumer packaged goods (CPG), or agency environment
  • Strong creative execution skills
  • Experience curating creative designs that create an emotional connection with audiences
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour, layout, and composition
  • Knowledge of pre-production processes
  • Ability to produce accurate production- and traffic-ready art files for print and digital
  • Strong portfolio across print and digital media, emphasizing in-store signage and digital ads
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere
  • Experience in motion graphics and video editing is an asset
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and timelines in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present design rationale clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and contribute to a team-first creative culture
  • Experience adapting creative across store, digital, social, email, packaging, and campaign channels
  • Ability to work with external agency partners to translate concepts into owned-channel formats
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Adobe Workfront or similar is an asset
  • Familiarity with digital asset management tools
