Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees
- Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
- Oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Use P&L and store reports to affect change
- Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store by complying with health and sanitation procedures
- Ensure products are in stock
- Work as part of the store leadership team to drive profitability and care for customers
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required with at least one year of retail management experience
- Ability to oversee customer service leadership, training, and coaching
- Ability to identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and encourage productivity
- Ability to implement merchandising and marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports
- Ability to manage cash handling and fuel transactions
- Knowledge of rewards loyalty program promotion
- Ability to maintain health and sanitation procedures and a clean, safe store environment
- Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills
- Proficient computer knowledge; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Valid driver’s license from the state of residence
- Automotive liability insurance maintained during employment
- Ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
