About the role
- Business intelligence consultant building Sage Intacct and Sage 300 CRE financial reports. Supporting accounting and operations teams with SQL-integrated, multi-entity reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom financial and operational reports and dashboards in Sage Intacct
- Build and manage reports in Sage 300 CRE using Crystal Reports and Office Connector
- Ensure reports accommodate multi-entity, multi-currency, and department-specific needs
- Align reporting outputs with month-end and quarter-end close cycles and ad hoc reporting requests
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Replicate key data into SQL tables when built-in tools are insufficient
- Support advanced report generation using SQL and Crystal Reports
- Troubleshoot data access and quality issues across systems and reports
- Gather reporting requirements from Accounting, Finance, and Business Operations teams
- Deliver customized reporting solutions to internal stakeholders and clients
- Provide guidance, documentation, and user support for interpreting and modifying reports
- Document report logic, data sources, and version history
- Share reporting best practices and train internal team members as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Sage Intacct, particularly in report development
- Proficient with Financial Report Writer
- Proficient with ICRW and Custom Report Wizard
- Proficient with Dashboards and Dimensions
- Proficient with Crystal Reports and Office Connector (Sage 300 CRE)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals
- Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments
- Ability to analyze and reconcile data across AP, AR, GL, Projects, Time & Expenses
- Working knowledge of SQL and stored procedures for reporting and data integration
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US or Canada
- Preferred: experience supporting clients or internal teams in the construction industry
- Preferred: familiarity with Intacct platform services (Smart Rules, Smart Events, custom objects)
- Preferred: experience with external reporting tools such as OMNI and Power BI
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
