About the role
- Jr. Project Coordinator co-op supporting Aecon’s nuclear infrastructure projects. Coordinating engineering scopes, meetings, updates, and vendor/client information requests in Pickering.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various areas of the project, depending on business requirements
- Communicate with engineering team members and engineering manager to maintain the engineering scopes work breakdown structure
- Communicate engineering team changes and updates to other project groups, including scheduling, project controls, and construction
- Organize internal or client meetings as required by the engineering team
- Develop meeting minutes
- Report action items from engineering meetings for input to the Action Items register
- Coordinate requests for information to vendors and clients as identified by the engineering team
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- 0 to 2 years experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
