About the role
- Senior Developer / DevOps Specialist joining large-scale digital modernization initiative. Building secure, scalable cloud-native applications within an agile delivery environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-native applications and services
- Build scalable frontend applications using Vue.js, Nuxt, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks
- Develop backend APIs and services using Python, Flask, Node.js, and REST/OpenAPI standards
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
- Work with containerized and microservices-based architectures
- Support DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers in Agile delivery teams
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and technical design sessions
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, and architecture artifacts
Requirements
- 5+ years of recent experience in senior software development roles
- Strong experience with modern frontend technologies including: Vue 3, Nuxt 3/4, TypeScript, HTML5, Tailwind CSS / modern CSS frameworks
- Strong backend development experience with: Python / Flask, Node.js, RESTful APIs, OpenAPI 3.x
- Experience with: Microservices architecture, Containerization, GitOps / Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as: OpenShift 4.x, Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong database experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
