Senior iOS Mobile Developer at Aequilibrium developing and customizing digital banking applications on Backbase platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly banking solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain native iOS applications built on the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.
Extend and integrate Backbase mobile components to meet client-specific requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly banking solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and release planning.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining high application performance and reliability.
Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.

5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
Strong proficiency with Swift and UIKit.
Hands-on experience extending, integrating, and customizing the Backbase Digital Banking Platform.
Experience delivering digital banking solutions for credit unions, banks, or other financial institutions.
Experience working in a professional services, consulting, or client-facing environment.
Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modern mobile development patterns.
Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
Experience with reactive programming using Combine and/or RxSwift.
Experience creating automated unit tests and maintaining high code quality standards.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and mobile release processes.
Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
