Responsibilities
Installs, repairs, and trains customers on GC and GC/MS instrumentation on-site
Adherence to environmental health and safety guidelines
Proactive response to potential equipment or software issues
Acts as internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations
Collaborates with various teams to provide solutions to customers
May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars
May engage with large volume customers for calibration and qualification
Requirements
Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en chimie ou en biochimie, ou diplôme équivalent
Plus de 2 ans d’expérience professionnelle pertinente
Solides compétences logiques en matière de dépannage
Une expérience d’opérateur en CPG, CPG-SM, CPG-QQQ est requise.
Connaissances en matière d’application requises
Aptitude à résoudre des problèmes pouvant entraîner des répercussions graves liés au matériel, aux logiciels ou aux applications du client.
Focalisation sur la recherche de solutions
Expérience en génomique, un atout
Solides compétences en relation avec la clientèle requises
Disposition à se déplacer (jusqu’à 30 % du temps) et à séjourner à l’extérieur
Respect des formalités de vérification de la fiabilité exigées par les gouvernements fédéral et provinciaux, au besoin, lors de travaux exécutés dans des installations gouvernementales
Volonté de se soumettre à des tests de dépistage de drogues et d’alcool pour accéder au site, le cas échéant
