About the role

  • Transaction Manager leading Canadian data center sourcing, negotiations, and lease execution for Anthropic’s reliable, beneficial AI infrastructure. Coordinating developers, legal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial sourcing and transaction execution for Canadian data center capacity deals
  • Identify data center capacity opportunities through relationships with developers, brokers, and power contacts
  • Lead RFP and commercial sourcing processes, including developer outreach, proposal evaluation, and competitive selection
  • Negotiate term sheets and manage the LOI process
  • Bridge LOI to executed transaction by ensuring commercial, technical, and legal requirements are satisfied
  • Project-manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement and coordinate due diligence teams, legal counsel, network organization, and platform teams
  • Serve as the single point of contact for networks, deployments, and government relations
  • Provide regular transaction-progress and leasing-process updates
  • Develop and maintain transaction timelines, track critical-path items, and identify deal-closure risks
  • Document and refine transaction processes and playbooks
  • Translate technical and operational needs into contractual terms
  • Manage complex digital infrastructure development activities to construction-ready state
  • Match projects, capital stacks, and developers at appropriate stages
  • Support long-term data center supply strategy development

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in transaction management, commercial real estate, data center leasing, or infrastructure procurement
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder transactions from sourcing through execution
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring term sheets, LOIs, and commercial agreements
  • Project management experience coordinating legal, technical, finance, and operational teams
  • Experience with RFP processes and competitive sourcing for large-scale infrastructure or real estate transactions
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising between internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Expert in the Canadian Leasing Compute space
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
  • Visa sponsorship may be available depending on the role and candidate
