About the role

  • SAP IBP Supply Lead optimizing global pharmaceutical supply planning systems at Apotex, a Canadian health company. Analyzing supply data, managing SAP IBP tools, and supporting global planning decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage supporting systems and tools used in Global Supply Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes
  • Ensure adherence to corporate controls and governance, and identify opportunities to improve the quality and timeliness of the global supply network
  • Serve as global SAP IBP planning tool steward for the Global Supply network
  • Generate and publish reports on IBP supply changes, capacity variances, and KPIs for management escalation and decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Site Supply Chain Execution, Production, Opex, Global Demand Planning, and Corporate Finance teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise on tools supporting supply planning and IBP processes
  • Lead implementation of new IBP tools and methodologies, including training and support for cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate and refine SAP IBP Supply usage to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, verify planning heuristics, and provide actionable business insights
  • Track planning, inventory projection, and capacity imbalance KPIs to improve supply chain efficiency
  • Identify and integrate new datasets and collaborate with engineering on data product development
  • Consolidate data to create global supply plans for Supply Review meetings
  • Develop, generate, and publish monthly supply and inventory metrics and analytical insights
  • Lead or support monthly metrics review meetings
  • Aggregate site-based supply plans for senior management endorsement
  • Partner with molecule planners to maintain the master production schedule and master data, track changes, and escalate issues
  • Assess and redesign planning master data to improve supply performance
  • Integrate New Product Launch requirements into IBP Supply Plans
  • Support projects, strategic initiatives, and decisions related to SAP IBP Supply
  • Generate ad hoc reports and provide management insights using multiple data sources
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in analytics, supply chain, computer science, or related discipline
  • At least 5 years of hands-on supply chain experience specifically in SAP IBP for Supply Chain
  • Meaningful experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Optimizer, S&OP, and Response and Supply modules
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages such as Java, Python, or SAS
  • Strong understanding of enterprise systems such as ERP/SAP, master data, and organizational business processes considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, data mining, and visualization tools such as Qlik and Power BI
  • Deep understanding of planning concepts, techniques, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct, and timely communication
  • Proven ability to foster positive relations with customers and key stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
