About the role

  • Agent(e) bilingue recrutant et fidélisant des travailleurs autochtones pour les camps ontariens d’Aramark. Mobilisation de la Première Nation Moose Cree, salons de l’emploi et visites communautaires.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit for Aramark camps in Ontario, with a particular focus on the Moose Cree First Nation
  • Increase Indigenous employment and support employee retention
  • Support recruitment efforts in local Ontario communities and for the Detour site
  • Contribute to the implementation of retention strategies designed to maintain the engagement of Indigenous employees
  • Represent Aramark at job fairs, career fairs, and other community events
  • Support other Indigenous relations activities as needed and as directed by the Director
  • Achieve employment and retention KPIs for Ontario sites in accordance with established targets

Requirements

  • High school diploma (Grade 12) required
  • University degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in Indigenous community engagement
  • Extensive knowledge of Indigenous training, recruitment, and retention strategies
  • Extensive knowledge of Ontario First Nations communities and their contact networks
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write recruitment plans, correspondence, newsletters, and other community outreach materials
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures, particularly those related to remote work and travel
