About the role

  • Aramark hospitality liaison recruiting Indigenous workers for Ontario camps, especially Moose Cree First Nation. Supporting retention, community engagement, career fairs, and Employment and Retention KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts for camps with local communities in Ontario, particularly Moose Cree First Nation for the Detour site
  • Assist in retention strategies to maintain Indigenous staff engagement
  • Represent Aramark at career fairs and community events to increase brand awareness and awareness of employment opportunities
  • Assist with other Indigenous Relations activities as assigned by the Director
  • Meet Employment and Retention KPIs for Ontario sites established through client, joint venture partnerships and PAIR targets
  • Visit job fairs, work sites and communities

Requirements

  • Grade 12 required
  • University degree preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Indigenous engagement
  • Extensive knowledge of Indigenous training, recruitment and retention strategies
  • Extensive knowledge of Ontario First Nation communities and community contacts
  • Communication skills to draft recruitment plans, correspondence, newsletters and other community outreach tasks
  • Knowledge of all Safety policies and procedures, particularly those associated with remote work and travel
  • Ability to recruit for Aramark camps within Ontario, with particular focus on Moose Cree First Nation
  • Ability to attend job fairs, site visits, community visits and other community events
