About the role
- Software Developer building AI-enabled cybersecurity solutions for Arctic Wolf’s global security services. Developing scalable cloud-native web applications with React, TypeScript, Go/Python, and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own mission-critical solutions for in-house Security Services teams
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to understand problems and develop solutions iteratively
- Deliver high-value services that help Security Services teams protect global customers
- Continuously improve solutions to enhance stakeholder effectiveness and operational efficacy
- Work with AI and broaden technical skills
- Develop in the Cybersecurity Operations space
- Deliver software through a mature CI/CD pipeline
- Solve engineering challenges involving scalability, reliability, performance, latency, throughput, and cost efficiency in cloud-native environments
- Build and operate complex web applications at scale
- Deliver production systems end-to-end and drive complex technical initiatives autonomously
- Build and deploy cloud services
- Develop full applications, implement complex designs, write testable high-performing code, fix bugs, and perform ongoing maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating complex web applications at scale
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and ability to critically evaluate AI output
- Experience delivering production systems end-to-end and driving complex technical initiatives autonomously
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Golang, Python, or Java
- Experience building and deploying services in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable working within microservices architectures and CI/CD environments
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming and messaging platforms is an asset
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience building and delivering full applications, implementing complex designs, writing organized, testable, high-performing code, bug-fixing, and ongoing maintenance
