About the role

  • Staff Software Developer building reliable Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoint security agents for Arctic Wolf. Leading architecture, technical delivery, mentoring, and cross-functional cybersecurity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support a software development team with a strong focus on project delivery, technical execution, and team mentorship
  • Build highly reliable code for agent-based cyber-security services and their deployment for Windows, Mac and Linux
  • Create technical documentation including high-level designs and architecture specifications
  • Drive technical excellence in code quality, performance, and system reliability
  • Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers on technical design and best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, Security, and DevOps teams on technical solutions

Requirements

  • 8-12+ years in systems engineering
  • 3+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Deep knowledge of one or more system-level programming languages like C++ or Rust
  • Proven track record leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
  • Experience working in an environment requiring engineering excellence to produce highly reliable software
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and security data processing
  • Experience working on an Agent team for a SaaS organization
  • Deep knowledge of operating system internals, notably MacOS
  • Background checks are required
  • Authorization to receive software or technology controlled under applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations, if applicable
  • Candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during all video interviews
