About the role
- Bilingual Enterprise Solutions Architect shaping pre-sales cloud and platform solutions for Arctiq’s managed IT services. Translating customer needs into secure, observable, automated architectures and delivery plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and qualification discussions with customers to identify business challenges and technical requirements
- Facilitate technical conversations and translate business needs into potential solutions
- Generate solutions and assemble products and services to drive customer outcomes
- Support sales conversations by answering product, architecture, and integration questions
- Collaborate with vendors and account teams to validate products and build Bills of Material
- Create Statements of Work that scope implementation services
- Estimate levels of effort and align project expectations with engineering teams
- Design, price, and position managed services; coordinate with the managed services team
- Participate in project kick-offs to transition opportunities from sales to service delivery
- Maintain customer engagement during service delivery
- Track customer implementation success metrics and evaluate project outcomes
- Assess financial outcomes for Arctiq and identify improvement opportunities
- Stay current with emerging Platform Engineering technologies and trends
- Share insights with customers and identify value-added services
- Recommend engineering systems and platform orchestration approaches
- Educate customers on security and governance best practices
- Contribute to workshops, webinars, industry events, and technical forums
- Build relationships across customer organizations, Arctiq, and the partner community
- Guide sales teams in identifying and prequalifying Platform Engineering opportunities
- Identify cross-selling opportunities
- Improve internal processes and drive organizational innovation
- Identify service delivery skills gaps and recommend training
- Mentor engineering talent and contribute to knowledge sharing and communities of practice
Requirements
- In-depth experience in pre-sales technical roles, solution architecture, or consulting within technology services
- Demonstrated and applied experience establishing and delivering complex projects, with a track record of successful implementations
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, cloud-native technologies, observability, security, DevOps, and/or FinOps practices
- Ability to apply product thinking to technical solutions
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Proactive and strategic thinking with a customer-centric focus
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Fully bilingual English and French
- Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of cloud-native application deployment patterns
- Proficiency with development tools and coding environments
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools and practices
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools
- Proficiency in DevOps engineering practices and platform orchestration
- Understanding of continuous delivery methodologies using CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Knowledge of application security principles and tools
- Understanding of observability platforms and practices
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies
- Expertise in API management and security
- Experience with observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace)
- Understanding of security and governance frameworks for modern platforms
