Responsibilities

Assume automation engineering responsibilities according to project mandates
Actively participate in the engineering of multidisciplinary automation projects
Assess client needs and contribute to requirements gathering
Contribute to the design of instrumentation and control systems
Write and maintain technical documentation
Design control and command panels
Participate in the preparation of tender documents
Ensure consistency of deliverables and compliance with standards
Collaborate with the team's technicians and engineers
Participate in fee estimation for project opportunities

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automated production engineering or equivalent
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Approximately 8 to 10 years' experience in automation, instrumentation and control
Experience producing technical documentation (specifications, functional analyses, test procedures)
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
Experience with HMI/SCADA interfaces
Understanding of electrical design principles and control systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French; functional English
Valid driver's licence
Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites
