About the role

  • Senior Product Manager owning Autodesk’s HR technology portfolio and unified employee experience layer. Translating ambiguous people and workplace needs into strategy, delivery, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for an assigned People & Places (PPL) domain portfolio
  • Apply build-versus-buy principles and the six-dimension evaluation framework across the PPL portfolio
  • Maintain visibility across tools, vendors, and contracts, and drive renewal, divestment, and consolidation decisions
  • Translate ambiguous employee and business problems into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Own the experience and intelligence layer for the assigned domain above Workday and other systems of record
  • Partner daily with ESE engineering teams through build, delivery, and launch
  • Evaluate AI capabilities for vendor capture and use AI in research, analysis, prioritization, and execution
  • Build stakeholder trust and alignment and drive decisions without direct authority
  • Drive adoption during the transition to a centralized technology model
  • Define domain KPIs, connect product metrics to PPL talent strategy, and build dashboards and leading indicators
  • Identify portfolio risks, redundancies, and opportunities and present recommendations to leadership
  • Build new domain and technical fluency as the portfolio and tools evolve

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of product management experience owning a product or platform from definition through delivery and operation
  • Experience operating with minimal oversight and making significant product decisions independently
  • Experience partnering directly with engineering teams to scope, sequence, and ship technical work
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments with undefined requirements and ownership
  • Track record of quickly learning and applying new domains, tools, or technical skills under real deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for translating complex technical or process details to business and technical audiences
  • Preferred: experience with HR or people technology platforms such as Workday, Eightfold, or learning and talent systems
  • Preferred: experience building or scaling internal enterprise products, data platforms, or integration services
  • Preferred: experience using generative AI or AI-assisted tools in product management workflows
  • Preferred: experience in a high-ownership, high-velocity product organization
  • Must be able to work in the listed hiring locations; in-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required
