About the role
- Senior Full Stack Developer building MaintainX’s mobile-first maintenance and operations platform. Owning full-stack features, architecture, reliability, and developer practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve customer workflows, including scheduling, parts management, and reporting
- Solve complex product problems involving dense data-heavy interfaces, large datasets, offline behavior, and multi-site scale
- Shape architecture and engineering practices on newly formed teams
- Simplify complex workflows on desktop and mobile
- Ship features end to end from planning through production
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape the team roadmap
- Own the long-term reliability and performance of a feature area or system
- Review code and mentor other developers
- Improve tooling, testing, and delivery practices
- Join a team of 5 to 10 people and participate in on-call rotation
- Own a feature area or system outright within the first 6 months
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development
- Track record of writing maintainable, testable code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make progress before specifications are fully settled and adjust as needed
- Daily use of AI tools in the development workflow
- Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience
- Additional valued experience: scheduling or calendar UIs, data-heavy front ends, offline-first or sync architectures, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transactional systems
- Participation in an on-call rotation
- In-person onboarding and/or in-person ID verification may be required
