About the role
- Intermediate Auto Claims Advisor guiding Oakville customers through collision investigations and claims decisions. Supporting Aviva Canada’s property and casualty insurance customers in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the claims process by investigating auto collision claims and addressing their needs
- Comply with company and industry regulatory practices
- Deliver best-practice methods and take responsibility for customers and claims outcomes
- Work autonomously in a digital environment
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with claims-handling best practices
- Contribute to special projects
- Provide feedback supporting Aviva’s initiatives to deliver an outstanding customer experience
Requirements
- 1–2 years of Auto Claims Adjusting experience is an asset
- 1–2 years of experience in a Call Center Environment is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a digital environment and undertake online tasks
- Genuine curiosity and an inquisitive approach to improving processes and creating a positive customer experience
- Ability to work within and positively add to the organizational culture and values
- Availability to work rotating shifts between 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday
