About the role

  • Auto Claims Advisor guiding Toronto customers through auto collision claims for Aviva Canada. Investigating claims, supporting customers, and determining appropriate outcomes in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the claims process by investigating auto collision claims and looking after their needs
  • Comply with company and industry regulatory practices
  • Deliver best-practice methods and take responsibility for customers and claims outcomes
  • Work autonomously in a digital environment
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay up to date with best practices in claims handling
  • Contribute to special projects and provide feedback supporting Aviva’s initiatives to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Serve as the customer’s first point of contact when they need assistance
  • Conduct investigations and decide the best course of action

Requirements

  • 1–2 years Auto Claims Adjusting experience is an asset
  • 1–2 years’ experience in a Call Center Environment is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a digital environment and undertake online tasks
  • Genuine curiosity and an inquisitive approach to improving processes and creating a positive customer experience
  • Ability to work within and positively add to Aviva’s organizational culture and values
  • Availability to work rotating shifts between 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday
