About the role
- Senior Analyst responsible for loan disbursement due diligence at BDC. Collaborating with underwriters for compliance and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all due diligence and verifications are completed prior to loan disbursement
- Work closely with underwriter and business development lead to ensure compliance
- Approve, decline or recommend disbursement within established parameters
- Review and follow up on letters of offers to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Process disbursement package and ensure sound account management practices
- Promptly disburse approved loans
- Update authorizations, project costs and disbursement strategies
- Resolve compliance or material changes during the disbursement process
- Maintain relationships with business centre personnel and colleagues
- Provide excellent customer experience in resolving client issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the financial sector
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong business acumen and client focus mindset
- Good time management and prioritization skills to meet critical deadlines
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Bilingualism (English and French)
