  • Assurance and accounting student supporting BDO Canada client engagements in Toronto and Oakville. Preparing financial statements, gathering evidence, and developing toward CPA designation.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
  • Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements according to regulatory standards
  • Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and respond effectively to requests and suggestions
  • Communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Understand clients’ industries, challenges, and opportunities
  • Recommend and focus on effective service delivery
  • Participate in adopting digital tools and strategies
  • Develop expertise through learning and professional development
