About the role

  • Home and Auto Insurance Advisor selling digital personal insurance for PolicyMe. Managing inbound leads, closing policies, and improving customer-first sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Educate prospective customers on Home & Auto insurance options using PolicyMe’s digital platform and product expertise
  • Manage a high-volume inbound pipeline of Home & Auto leads
  • Move qualified opportunities through the sales funnel and close policies via phone, SMS, and email
  • Track calls, emails, follow-ups, and deal stages in HubSpot
  • Recommend coverage based on customer needs using a consultative, customer-first approach
  • Build and refine sales scripts, talk tracks, objection-handling, workflows, and follow-up sequences in HubSpot
  • Work with engineering and product to refine client digital experiences and communicate product performance
  • Deliver a high-energy, high-conversion, honest, and customer-centric experience
  • Ensure recommendations and customer interactions comply with RIBO requirements, carrier guidelines, and internal policies
  • Hit and exceed monthly sales and activity targets
  • Test and optimize sales processes, discovery questions, and follow-up cadences
  • Contribute to a scalable Home & Auto sales playbook and refine qualification criteria
  • Identify bundle and cross-sell opportunities with Life and Health & Dental insurance
  • Help position PolicyMe as Canada’s go-to digital-first personal insurance distributor

Requirements

  • Licensed P&C advisor in Ontario (RIBO Level 1 or higher)
  • 3+ years of experience selling personal lines (Home & Auto), ideally in a high-volume, phone-based or digital sales environment
  • Builder mentality; entrepreneurial and adaptable
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a consultative sales environment
  • Experience owning a full inbound pipeline from first contact to close
  • Strong pipeline management and organization skills
  • Ability to manage a large volume of leads while maintaining follow-up discipline and clean CRM hygiene
  • Strong communication skills and consultative sales style
  • Ability to manage objections and explain complex coverage concepts clearly
  • High empathy and discretion when discussing personal and financial details
  • Sense of urgency and ownership over sales numbers
  • Comfort with CRM and workflow tools; HubSpot preferred
  • Willingness to use data, playbooks, and feedback to improve performance
  • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and customer best interests
  • Experience at a digital-first distributor is an asset
