About the role

  • IT and Identity Manager owning Okta, SaaS, endpoint, and automation operations for Benepass, a customizable employee-benefits fintech platform. Setting IT direction and scalable service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the IT roadmap, priorities, and operating processes
  • Set measurable goals, coordinate dependencies, and communicate progress, risks, and resource needs to stakeholders
  • Own Okta, identity governance, HRIS identity integration, and automated provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Maintain reliable identity data, role-based access, SSO integrations, and access review processes with Security and People Operations
  • Own the reliability, configuration, and lifecycle of the SaaS portfolio and managed devices, including Google Workspace and Jamf
  • Maintain asset records, device compliance, application ownership, and appropriate data handling
  • Own onboarding, role changes, and offboarding with People Operations
  • Define responsibilities, approvals, and fulfillment procedures for employee lifecycle processes
  • Set support priorities, response and resolution targets, and escalation paths
  • Track backlog, service performance, and recurring issues
  • Resolve complex incidents and eliminate underlying causes
  • Establish IT processes, documentation, and operating standards that enable consistent execution and organizational scale
  • Provide technical guidance, establish best practices, and ensure critical workflows have appropriate documentation and backup coverage
  • Design and deliver reliable workflows using APIs, scripting, Okta Workflows, and platforms such as n8n
  • Manage IT vendors, renewals, licensing, and spend planning with Finance and the Head of Infosec & GRC
  • Use service metrics, SaaS utilization, and device compliance data to guide investment and improvement
  • Partner with Engineering, People Operations, Security, and Finance
  • Provide support coverage when needed while making capacity constraints and project impacts visible
  • Report to the Head of Infosec & GRC

Requirements

  • 5+ years in IT systems, identity, or SaaS administration, with demonstrated ownership of services or programs in a growing technology organization
  • Strong hands-on experience with Okta administration, Workflows, Identity Governance, SSO integrations, and automated identity lifecycle management
  • Experience setting priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering cross-functional projects
  • Experience supervising or coaching support staff and delegating work with clear accountability
  • Proven ownership of SaaS administration, licensing, integrations, and data governance
  • Practical expertise with Jamf Pro and Google Workspace Admin for Mac and Chromebook environments
  • Proficiency with APIs and scripting such as Python, shell scripting, or Google Apps Script
  • Experience building, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational workflows
  • Ability to define support processes, service targets, asset controls, and useful operational metrics
  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound prioritization, and ability to explain tradeoffs, resolve competing needs, and raise risks early
  • Preferred: experience building or leading a small IT function in a growing SaaS company
  • Preferred: familiarity with Cloudflare ZTNA and other secure access solutions
  • Preferred: experience supporting SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar assurance programs through IT controls, documentation, and evidence
  • Preferred: experience with zero-trust environments and modern endpoint security tooling
  • Preferred: experience integrating HRIS data with identity platforms and automating employee lifecycle processes
  • Preferred: experience with n8n or comparable workflow platforms, SaaS consolidation, and migrations from fragmented automation tools
  • Must be based in the United States or Canada
