About the role

  • Business Analyst developing business cases and BPMN-modeled solutions for Beneva’s insurance and financial-services clients. Managing requirements and supporting solution adoption in a hybrid Quebec role.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and integrate the organization’s and internal partners’ issues, priorities, objectives and strategies
  • Conduct opportunity analyses, business positioning dossiers and business cases
  • Propose innovative solutions that meet the organization’s needs and create value
  • Justify recommendations and decisions to ensure solutions address real needs
  • Model business processes using the BPMN standard
  • Manage the lifecycle of business requirements, processes, business rules and decisions
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure alignment between needs and delivered solutions
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of business solutions with stakeholders
  • Support business partners in decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with business architecture and guidelines during delivery
  • Participate in the business analysis community of practice, including continuous improvement, co-development and mentorship

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Information Systems (OIS), Business Technology Management (BTM) or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, including at least 2 years in preparing business cases
  • Proficient in practices and tools for documenting needs, requirements, processes, business rules and testing
  • Knowledge of the BABOK
  • Experience in a scaled Agile environment
  • IIBA certification and SAFe certification considered major assets
  • Advanced spoken and written French
  • Intermediate spoken and written English
