About the role
- Business Analyst developing business cases and BPMN-modeled solutions for Beneva’s insurance and financial-services clients. Managing requirements and supporting solution adoption in a hybrid Quebec role.
Responsibilities
- Understand and integrate the organization’s and internal partners’ issues, priorities, objectives and strategies
- Conduct opportunity analyses, business positioning dossiers and business cases
- Propose innovative solutions that meet the organization’s needs and create value
- Justify recommendations and decisions to ensure solutions address real needs
- Model business processes using the BPMN standard
- Manage the lifecycle of business requirements, processes, business rules and decisions
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure alignment between needs and delivered solutions
- Contribute to the design and implementation of business solutions with stakeholders
- Support business partners in decision-making
- Ensure compliance with business architecture and guidelines during delivery
- Participate in the business analysis community of practice, including continuous improvement, co-development and mentorship
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Information Systems (OIS), Business Technology Management (BTM) or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, including at least 2 years in preparing business cases
- Proficient in practices and tools for documenting needs, requirements, processes, business rules and testing
- Knowledge of the BABOK
- Experience in a scaled Agile environment
- IIBA certification and SAFe certification considered major assets
- Advanced spoken and written French
- Intermediate spoken and written English
